Futurex is pleased to announce that its industry-leading encryption devices are officially approved for use in Australia’s payment industry, per the Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet). The Futurex EXP1000 and GSP3000 hardware security modules (HSMs) have been added to the Australian Issuers and Acquirers Community (IAC) Approved Devices list. The IAC Approved Devices list is maintained by AusPayNet itself.
Australian Payments Network
AusPayNet is a self-regulatory body and professional association for organizations within Australia’s payments industry. Members include some of the world’s largest payments organizations, such as JPMorgan Chase, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, and HSBC Bank Australia. Futurex’s HSMs were officially approved for use due to the rigorous logical and physical security with which they are designed.
A global cryptographic platform
Futurex’s certification comes at a significant time for the fast-growing company. Over the past year, Futurex has established numerous data centers in strategic locations around the world. The company has done so in an effort to provide its clients with faster processing and stronger compliance. Its certification as a provider of IAC Approved Devices is the latest development in this ongoing strategy.
